Boilerplate Language About the Prize

Since 2018, the Henry P. Kendall Foundation New England Food Vision Prize has supported more than 27 unique projects that test innovative ideas, invest in leaders, and help make measurable progress toward a more self-reliant regional food system. Now in its fifth year, the Prize continues to support projects that accelerate a resilient New England food system – with the goal that the region produces 30% of its food by 2030.  By unlocking the market power of educational institutions, Prize projects result in more regional food in school kitchens and student meals, and increased demand for regional food by students and their families while supporting healthy food for all, sustainable farming and fishing, and creating thriving communities.
