For many years the Henry P. Kendall Foundation has focused its human and financial resources on developing innovative solutions to environmental challenges through venture philanthropy. Our philosophy has been to develop problem-solving approaches in our funding of large-scale landscape conservation and climate change/energy efficiency programs – providing seed funding to advance new and innovative solutions.
The Trustees have now decided to take time to reflect on the Foundation’s history and to determine a new strategy which will help identify the kind of program we will next embrace and the talent needed to execute such endeavors.
We are deeply grateful to all with whom we have collaborated, benefitting from their insights, energy, and resources. We look forward to developing an agenda for the future with the same creativity and expertise that has been the hallmark of this Foundation.
