The Kendall Foundation has long recognized that significant reductions in greenhouse gas emissions cannot be achieved without the clear mobilization and calls for action by the American people. We plan to sustain our agenda in increasing advocacy opportunities and we believe that today’s young people can be a mobilizing force needed to build the necessary political movement. Our work will embrace efforts to ignite and reinforce student campaigns, and support university administrative leaders who are pioneering sustainability efforts.

Additionally, we recognize and support selective investments in building the climate solutions movement at the community level through innovative approaches that popularize carbon reductions and educate wider audiences.
